No último dia 7 de janeiro o mundo da música foi seriamente abalado com a repentina notícia do falecimento de Neil Peart, lendário baterista do Rush, aos 67 anos, após uma intensa batalha de mais de três anos contra um câncer no cérebro. Considerado o melhor baterista do mundo e inspiração para todo o mundo do rock, e além, a web neste final de semana foi preenchida com homenagens e reações à sua morte dos seus colegas e fãs, desde famosos a desconhecidos, em uma verdadeira união de mensagens de carinho ao músico que fez história com seus grooves complexos, amplamente executado por diversos outros bateristas que o tem como inspiração.
