Está entre nós! Finalmente, após muito prometida, foi lançada nesta quarta-feira (22) a nova faixa inédita do Pearl Jam “Dance Of The Clairvoyants”, primeiro single do novo álbum “Gigaton”, que chega ao público no próximo dia 27 de março.
A divulgação da faixa marca o primeiro lançamento de algo inédito desde 2018, quando a banda divulgou a canção "Can't Deny Me".
Além do single, nesta semana a banda também revelou a lista de faixas que integrarão o novo trabalho de estúdio. Serão 11 ao total, incluindo “Dance Of The Clairvoyants”.
As primeiras impressões da canção dividiram os fãs. Com uma sensação mais eletrônica em geral, a música nova tem um ritmo mais dançante, quase como um indie, uma sonoridade bastante diferente do que os fãs estão acostumados, o que acabou causando certa estranheza em alguns, e surpreendeu outros.
Na web, enquanto alguns fãs dizem aguardar pelo lançamento do álbum, por não terem ficado muito satisfeitos com o single, outros fãs o defendem, apontando uma nova identidade, experimentação e evolução musical.
A faixa também mostra Eddie Vedder aumentando a intensidade em seu vocal à medida que o verso progride. Sobre a canção, o baixista Jeff Ament comentou em entrevista: "'Dance' foi uma tempestade perfeita de experimentação e colaboração real ... Abrimos novas portas de forma criativa e isso é emocionante".
